Aunt Lurleen's Peanut Butter Fudge

6 cups sugar
1 can carnation evaporated milk
1 stick butter or margarine

Mix and boil for 6 minutes. Take off heat and quickly add and stir:

1 cup Peter Pan Peanut Butter (cheaper brands do not do as well)
1 teaspoon vanilla
Beat thoroughly and pour into buttered 9x13 glass pan.
