Our friend David Pierce mentioned that he planned to use some of Sweet Branch Pecans for his Orange Pecan Pie. Well, that was a new one on me, so of course I wanted the recipe! Rather than type it up, I decided to copy his email (with tips) and recipe straight to here because that is the laziest most creative way to share it with you. ***BIG Note - Dave sent me an email that he had left out one ingredient - SUGAR! Please add 1 cup. I didn't realize it was missing since it had the corn syrup in the recipe.
I have not tried this yet, but have it on my baking schedule for Thanksgiving next week. Yummy!!
